Katanya Timinsky is a seasoned Communications Specialist and TEDx speaker known for her powerful storytelling and advocacy work. With a deep commitment to humanitarian causes, Katanya has been using her platform to raise awareness about global issues, particularly focusing on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. She is passionate about highlighting the human side of the crisis, and her work often emphasizes the resilience, struggle, and hope of those affected.

As part of her mission to amplify the voices of Ukraine, Katanya has collaborated with Raw Artists Edmonton to showcase her Ukrainian Photojournalist Gallery. This exhibition is a visual journey that documents the lives of everyday Ukrainians during the ongoing war, shedding light on their stories through her poignant photography. The gallery offers an intimate and powerful perspective on the conflict, capturing both the harsh realities and the enduring strength of the Ukrainian people.

Proceeds from the exhibition will support Katanya’s humanitarian efforts, which include her current work with Ukrainian Patriot, a Canadian non-profit organization and a Ukrainian NGO. Together, they provide crucial assistance to displaced individuals affected by the war, focusing on relief efforts and long-term recovery.
